Terry Bathrobe
Our bathrobes are made in Portugal from densely woven terry cloth using highly absorbent, 100% Oeko-Tex®-certified Egyptian Giza cotton. The generous fit offers comfort and ease—whether after a morning dip in the ocean, a shower or during slow mornings at home. With a weight of 500 GSM, the fabric is noticeably softer and more voluminous than standard terry.
This quality comes from the use of extra-long, combed cotton fibers, creating a soft and lightweight surface while ensuring both durability and lasting comfort.

To preserve the softness and longevity of your bathrobe, we recommend the following care:
– Machine wash with similar colors at 40 °C
– Use a mild detergent without bleach
– Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce the absorbency of the terry
- Tumble dry on low to medium heat
– Do not overload the drum to maintain the loft of the fibers
– Iron on low heat if desired
– Do not dry clean
With proper care, your bathrobe will remain soft, absorbent, and beautiful for years to come.

The Abate Standard
Fine Thread Count
We have a thread count (TC) of 430s, meaning 430 ‘single ply’. Normally, bedding has a thread count of 100-150.Single ply means that our threads are woven from long cotton fibers and nothing else. You can trust that our high thread count means both finer bedding and better durability.
Certifications
We are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified, ensuring minimal to no harmful chemicals (renewed annually). Additionally, the Cotton Egypt Association’s Gold Seal certifies our cotton as genuine Egyptian, verified through methods including DNA testing, guaranteeing authenticity.
